FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE? DO I QUALIFY?
Please call or contact us via the email section on this website. We are happy to answer any questions that you or your physician may have.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS SHOULD I EXPECT?
Each person is different and no condition is exactly the same. Observations during clinical studies indicate a cumulative effect and that with subsequent treatments, the effects seem to last longer. Study and treatment program can be better estimated at the time of initial assessment.
ARE THERE ANY RISKS OR SIDE EFFECTS?
The skin may become red after treatment which is normal. The treatment promotes the healing process in part by causing vasodilation of blood vessels. After treatment, you may feel that you are able to do certain things that you were not able to do before. Please note that prior to treatment, your muscle fibers may have shortened due to inflammation and a decreased range of motion. The treatment’s goal is to reset the function of nerves and muscles, so there is a chance that the pain may come back in between treatments. However, the pain will usually not be as intense as before. After treatment, due to increased range of motion and additional movement, you may experience muscle pain due to the stretching of these muscle fibers. With continued movement and/ or next visit treatment this usually subsides according to according to study observation.
CAN I CONTINUE MY CURRENT MEDICATIONS?
Yes you must continue your current medication regimen unless instructed by and monitored by your physician.
