EMD CLINICAL STUDY
You may qualify for participation in a clinical study that involves applying treatment from a device called the EMD that is designed for the reduction of pain and inflammation that can lead to increased movement and restoration of physical function.
The Electron Modulation Device (EMD) delivers a specially engineered and programmed energy to painful areas.
Research has shown that when the body is suffering from injury, disease or other medical conditions it exhibits electron instability. This can lead to cellular, biochemical and physiological changes including inflammation and pain.
It is believed that this device may help normalize the electron instability and cell function leading to relief of pain and inflammation along with a reduction and possible elimination of medications.

51 year old male in major distress due to a 10 year history of lumbar back pain
Patient had a history of surgeries and debilitating chronic pain that led to a significant loss of range of motion. Over a 10-year period his daily activity had steadily and significantly diminished leading
to loss of quality of life. Surgeries and medical events resulted in medication history including
Fentanyl 50 Mg Transdermal patch every three days and Oxycodone 15 mg every four hours (6
times every 24 hours). The patient had exhausted all available avenues.
EMD Intervention and Outcomes EMD treatments were administered to Patient2-3 times per week. Prior to treatment his pain levels were 7-8/10 VAS *2. Post treatment his pain levels were 0-3/10. After one month of successive treatments, the Patient reported he had gone 9 days without Fentanyl and had not used Oxycodone for the past 48 hours.
We believe that the application of EMD provides a new treatment option in conjunction with conservative healthcare management including physical therapy, dietary and medical management to help assist in reducing the overall dependence of opioids and reduction of pain.

Inflammation is the result of the of Ion channel dysfunction within the cells. We are studying ways to improve ion channel function through electron modulation in an effort to reduce inflammation.
HEAD AND NECK
Improvement in head and neck conditions including migraines have been observed in clinical studies. Ion channel function improvement in neurons can reduce neuron inflammatory response and related conditions such as pain.
Two pilot studies on failed back patients have demonstrated significant improvements in function and related reduction in pain.
Significant improvement in reduction of inflammation, related pain and range of motion have been observed in clinical studies for both injury and post surgical recovery.
